Mk4 golf door wont lock with key.
I am de locked so can lock the car via the boot if need be.
Remove the cap from the door handle on the driver door.
I must lock with the the physical key itself.
I cannot lock my driver s side door with my button on my key.
However the fact that the other locks open on the remote would suggest that the problem is confined to your front passenger door.
Unfold the key bit on the remote control vehicle key.
If i lock then car using key fob and open the door the alarm goes off.

The drivers door won t lock using the key fob but if i use the blade it will lock fine.

If you can pop the lock in this way it may be that the loom is pinched somewhere or that a fuse is blown.
